I can remember back when I was just a kid and my mother would take us school shopping. You know the routine. You hit up some decent clothing stores for those new duds. She would always take us to the factory outlet malls as opposed to the shopping center that was considerably closer. She was absolutely convinced of the worthy savings involved. I could have cared less; the clothes all looked pretty much the same to me.

These days my wife and I are always headed out to the local factory outlet malls in search of attire for our little one. One thing is for sure, when you're buying for a small child, you're buying often. They grow and change so much it's hard to keep up. Now I can definitely spot the differences in prices. I guess you have to be paying for the stuff to notice. It's not that I believe our local factory outlet malls are always cheaper, but they certainly have much better sales, and do so rather frequently.
 
These are the best times to shop. I prefer to browse through Banana Republic for the bare essentials known as T-shirts and jeans. The Banana Republic store I strolled through at the factory outlet mall nearby had just what I was looking for. I was flabbergasted to find quality T-shirts on sale for 8 bucks a pop. Now that's a good deal. If you've shopped in Banana Republic before, then you surely know what I mean.
